Love Disney secrets? Spotting Hidden Mickey’s at EPCOT is a must! These cleverly placed Mickey-shaped designs are scattered throughout the park, and once you start looking, it becomes addictive!
On my first few visits, I missed some of the best ones, but now I can’t stop searching. Whether it’s your first trip or your tenth, keep an eye out for these hidden details that add extra Disney magic to your visit.

What Is A Hidden Mickey?
The definition of a Hidden Mickey is a partial or complete image of Mickey Mouse. One that has been adapted or hidden by the Disney Imagineers. These hidden Disney images have been cleverly created and designed to blend into the background. Not all of them are obvious at all at first glance.
Many people have their own interpretation of what a Hidden Mickey is and that’s fine. There is no hard and fast rule as to what may be an official Hidden Mickey and what won’t be.

Epcot Hidden Mickeys
Epcot is a vast space with lots of different imagineering. This means there are plenty of places to hide a Hidden Mickey in the designs.
I doubt it would be possible to ever spot them all, especially as over time attractions and areas are remodelled and designed. But it’s always fun trying to spot new ones.
Aside from the more popular and well known Hidden Mickeys you can spot in Epcot, you may also be lucky enough to find some bonus Mickeys. Often cast members can be known to create temporary ones. Like this one we spotted outside Katsura Grill in the Japan Pavilion.
You might also spot them in other places such as in decorations when ordering food and drinks.
A top tip if you’re visiting Disney World with children, and wanting to keep them entertained is to set them a Hidden Mickey challenge. How many can they spot?
I’ve learned this is a great way to distract when they’re tired, or perhaps don’t want to walk around the World Showcase. The grown ups can sample some of the lovely food and drink on offer!
Hidden Mickeys In Epcot’s Standby Queues
You may miss some Hidden Mickeys if you have a Lightning Lane for your chosen ride or attraction. Some of them are hidden in the standby queues. These are great places to spot them as we often walk slower through these lines and take in more of our surroundings.
- In the Frozen Ever After Standby line, when the line goes inside look up. You will spot three plates on the wall that have been placed together.
- On the right hand side of the standby line in Test Track you can spot a Mickey traced on a drawing board.
- The Turtle Talk With Crush waiting room hides inside the first window painting as you enter the room.
Hidden Mickeys On Rides In Epcot
Don’t spend all your time looking for Hidden Mickeys whilst on the rides, as you want to make sure you’re enjoying the ride. There are however some great Mickeys to spot during these rides at Epcot.
- Whilst riding Soarin’ look out for the hot air balloons floating across the desert. Three balloons merge together in the distance to create a Hidden Mickey.
- At the end of Soarin’, look at the fireworks as they explode.
- Along the inside track in Test Track on the ride, the first road sign hides a Hidden Mickey.
- Keep your eyes peeled when enjoying the relaxing ride that is Living With The Land. Find the Hidden Mickeys on a hose in the fish farm, and a wire mesh Mickey in the aquaculture section.
- Sometimes you can also spot the growing shapes being created into Hidden Mickeys as well if you look closely. Don’t forget to see how the lettuce is growing. You may spot the shape of Mickey here with the different colours and varieties of lettuce.
Hidden Mickeys In Epcot World Showcase
Epcot World Showcase is amazing at any time of the year. But when you’re visiting during Flower & Garden Festival or perhaps Food & Wine Festival, there may even be some extra special hidden Mickey’s to spot as well.
- In the Mexico Pavilion on the Grand Fiesta Tour, you can spot a Hidden Mickey in the form of two lily pads that create a Mickey.
- Also on the Grand Fiesta Tour. Look really closely at the blue pond around halfway through the ride. You can spot bubbles forming a Mickey shape just after Donald is taken away.

- Look up in the plaza of the Mexico Pavilion to spot Mickey in the banners. Look near the merchandise stand selling mugs and glasses.
- Whilst In the China Pavilion, look on the light posts at the entrance. Here you will spot flowers sculpted into Mickeys.
- In the Germany Pavilion just next to the Biergarten restaurant, you can see a HIdden Mickey underneath the lion’s paws near the lamp.
- In the Japan Pavilion look in the koi pond to spot a Hidden Mickey on the drain cover.
- The Morocco Pavilion proudly shows a Hidden Mickey in the form of three plates. This one is easy to spot walking around the World Showcase.
- In the United Kingdom Pavilion look at the shop sign for the Sportsman’s Shoppe.

- On the totem pole in the Canada Pavilion you can spot Mickey near the top by the raven’s wings.

Other Hidden Mickeys At Epcot
- As you enter the Land Pavilion, look in the mural on the right hand side. You will spot Mickey on the right hand tile support.
- In the aquarium near the Seas with Nemo and friends, look in the tanks from above. Spot Mickey made of stones on the bottom of the tank.
- If you have a dining reservation at Le Cellier in the Canada Pavilion, look at the wine rack as you enter this popular Epcot restaurant.
- One of the hardest hidden Mickey’s in Epcot to spot can be found in Garden Grill restaurant. Hiding in the mural behind a fern leaf, you may need the cast members’ help to spot this one!
