Epcot is one of the best Disney parks for showcasing their restaurants in my opinion. There are so many to choose from, whether you’re looking for quick service locations, snacks or table service restaurants. Over the years we have eaten in quite a few Epcot restaurants, and have read many Epcot restaurant reviews to find suitable places to eat for our family.
I have asked some fellow Disney World lovers which is their favourite Epcot restaurant. The results have provided me with some new options to try out on our next visit, and some firm favourites have appeared that haven’t surprised me in the slightest.
Beginning our journey of favourite restaurants in Epcot, we journey around the World Showcase in a clockwise manner in Mexico.
Savvy Mama Lifestyle enjoys eating at La Hacienda de San Angel, where they serve a variety of fresh Mexican flavours. She recommends requesting a table near the window to enjoy Epcot’s night time show.
La Hacienda de San Angel is one of Epcot’s many table service restaurants that is available on the Disney Dining Plan.
Onwards to Norway, the Princess character meal Akershus is loved by both Pixie Dust Savings and The Frugal South. Akershus isn’t a restaurant I have personally eaten in but as a big Beauty and the Beast fan, we would definitely love to eat here one day.
As we travel through the China Pavilion, we have made it a little family tradition to stop at China’s quick service restaurant, the Lotus Blossom Cafe. They serve the most amazing Orange chicken and is a great use of a quick service credit on the Disney Dining plan. If you only have one day at Epcot, I recommend lunch here.

The Germany Pavilion Epcot restaurant Biergarten is a favourite of Disney Insider Tips and Mama, Eden and Me. We haven’t dined in Biergarten before, but I must admit the menu and restaurant style appeals to me. A meal and a show is always a lovely way to spend some time.

Into Italy, we thought Via Napoli was one of the best Epcot restaurants for pizza. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and you can see the huge pizza ovens at the side of the restaurant.
Half way around the World Showcase, we have arrived in the American Pavilion and home to the huge quick service restaurant, The Liberty Inn. We happened upon The Liberty Inn a few years ago when we were looking for shrimp on a quick service menu.
The restaurant has a lot of choice for quick service meals, and a large amount of seating inside the bright restaurant. It quickly became one of my favourites.
On our very first visit to Disney World in 2014, we happened upon the Katsura Grill, Japan’s quick service location as Hubby was enjoying the koi fish in the pond next to the restaurant. We really enjoyed a curry and sticky rice in Katsura Grill with some amazing views whilst we ate.
Le Cellier in the Canada Pavilion is recommended by Keep Up With The Jones Family as they have amazing cheddar soup, filet mignon and ice wine. Le Cellier is a two table service credit restaurant if using the Disney Dining plan.
Outside of the World Showcase the favourite table service restaurant that is recommended by many including myself and Our Little Escapades is The Garden Grill. In the Land Pavilion in Future World, Garden Grill is a slow rotating character restaurant featuring Chip and Dale, Farmer Mickey and Pluto.
Food is served family style and includes a feast of meats, mashed potato, sweet potato fries and vegetables for dinner.
A popular quick service location recommended by Twinderelmo is the Electric Umbrella because the setting inside is really pretty with lots of space to sit. Her children really enjoyed the pizza at the Electric Umbrella.
