Which are the best Epcot restaurants? There are so many places to eat at Epcot, but which should you choose? Whether you’re looking for one of Epcot’s table service restaurants, or even a counter service location, you’re never far away from food at Epcot.
Over the years we have eaten in quite a few Epcot restaurants, and have read many Epcot restaurant reviews to find suitable places to eat for our family.
Included in this post are some great recommendations from myself and other Walt Disney World lovers.
Beginning our journey of favourite restaurants in Epcot, we journey around the World Showcase lagoon in a clockwise manner in Mexico.
La Hacienda de San Angel
Your dining experience at La Hacienda de San Angel sees you seated under colourful lamps and star lanterns. The restaurant serves a variety of fresh Mexican flavours.
Appetisers on the menu include Queso Fundido, a dish of warmed cheese with poblano peppers and sausage. If you’re a fan of Margaritas, then you must pay a visit to sample the handcrafted drinks.
Reccomended by Savvy Mama Lifestyle – request a table near the window to enjoy Epcot’s night time show. The windows in the restaurant are tall and over look the lagoon, offering great views of fireworks.
Akershus Royal Banquet
Onwards to Norway, the Princess character meal Akershus is loved by both Pixie Dust Savings and The Frugal South. Akershus isn’t a restaurant I have personally eaten in but as a big Beauty and the Beast fan, we would definitely love to eat here one day.
This is possibly one of the best Epcot restaurants for kids because of all the princesses. If you enjoy character meals in Epcot, and wish to visit the princesses, then Akershus is for you.
This is one of Epcot’s buffet restaurants offering a taste of Norway. If you’re looking for a unique breakfast in Epcot, then this is a great option.
Lotus Blossom Cafe
As we travel through the China Pavilion, we have made it a little family tradition to stop at China’s quick service restaurant, the Lotus Blossom Cafe.
They serve the most amazing Orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. If you only have one day at Epcot, I recommend lunch here. The restaurant seating area is also cool and breezy, making it a great way to escape the heat.
Nine Dragons Restaurant
Staying in the China pavilion, the table service option is Nine Dragons restaurant. You can expect to find appetisers including chicken pot stickers and vegetable spring rolls.
Entrees include crispy duck fried rice, Honey Sesame Chicken and Kung Pao Duo. There’s plenty to tempt you.
Biergarten
The Germany Pavilion Epcot restaurant Biergarten is a favourite of Disney Insider Tips. We haven’t dined in Biergarten before, but I must admit the menu and restaurant style appeals to me. A meal and a show is always a lovely way to spend some time.
You can celebrate Oktoberfest all year round at Biergarten. There is music, entertainment and plenty of authentic German food to discover.

Via Napoli Ristorante
Into Italy, we thought Via Napoli was one of the best Epcot restaurants for pizza. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and you can see the huge wood fired pizza ovens at the side of the restaurant.
Via Napoli is one of the best Epcot restaurants for families looking to save money eating out. The large pizzas can easily feed a family of four. There are plenty of menu choices aside from the traditional pizzas. These include chicken parmigiana and risotto balls.
The wood fired pizzas are thin crust and made using fresh mozzarella cheese, San Marzano tomatoes and real Caputo flour imported from Southern Italy.

Katsura Grill
On our very first visit to Disney World, we happened upon the Katsura Grill. This is Japan’s quick service location. As we were admiring the koi fish in the pond next to the restaurant, we realised it would be a lovely setting for lunch. We really enjoyed a curry and sticky rice in Katsura Grill with some amazing views whilst we ate.
Enjoy menu items including shrimp and chicken teriyaki, or miso soup and shrimp tempura udon to name a few choices.
Rose And Crown Dining Room
In the UK pavilion, you’ll find a quaint traditional English pub and dining room. We have enjoyed a quick drink in the bar, and also a meal in the restaurant. You can expect menu items to include fish and chips, Welsh burger and bangers and mash.
The Rose and Crown pub dining room one of the best places to eat at Epcot for fireworks views as well if you time your reservation right. They have some great outside seating overlooking the lagoon.
Le Cellier Steakhouse
In the Canada Pavilion, Le Cellier is recommended by Keep Up With The Jones Family as they have amazing cheddar soup, filet mignon and ice wine. le Cellier has a reputation for the best steak at Disney World, but what do you think? Does it stand up to its reputation?
It’s not all about the steak, there are some tempting appetisers including cheddar cheese soup, a baby iceberg wedge salad and steamed mussels to get you started too.
The Garden Grill
Outside of the World Showcase the favourite table service restaurant that is recommended by many including myself and Our Little Escapades is The Garden Grill.
In the Land Pavilion in Future World, Garden Grill is a slow rotating character restaurant featuring Chip and Dale, Farmer Mickey and Pluto.
Food is served family style and includes a feast of meats, mashed potato, sweet potato fries and vegetables for dinner. This is one of the best places to eat in Epcot for an amazing character experience.
Space 220 Restaurant
The newest restaurant in Epcot is Space 220. If you want a dining experience that’s out of this world, then a reservation is a must.
You will board a special space elevator on your way to the themed restaurant. Along the way you’ll have an arial view of Epcot.
Space 220 serves a two or three course prix fixe menu. Appetisers include Space Greens or Blue Moon Cauliflower. Entrees include menu items such as Space Pad Thai or Slow Roasted Crystal Valley Chicken.
