One of our highlights from our recent trip to Disney World was to visit the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. I have seen blogs, pictures and videos from others visiting in previous years and I was looking forward to seeing all the topiaries and trying out some of the foods from the garden kitchens dotted around Epcot.
Epcot Flower & Garden Festival is on during the spring time. The festival hosts over 70 topiaries featuring all the favourite Disney characters. We had great fun spotting them, especially Peter Pan who was on the roof in the UK Pavilion.

A new section this year was Tinkerbell’s butterfly house that was hosting live butterflies, cocoons and great information to learn about different species of butterflies.
Walking around the world showcase, we spotted lots of topiaries and fun things to do for children and adults. The musical playground was something different with some shady places to rest for the grown ups which was welcome. For myself I was looking forward to trying the burnt ends from The Smokehouse in the America Pavilion.
Slow roasted brisket ends with jalapeños and cheese sauce. A small portion that cost me one snack credit on the Disney quick service dining plan. They were so yummy and a great snack as we walked around. I was tempted by some of the different drinks on offer, but in the heat I decided it would be a good idea to stick to water.
Beauty and The Beast is my favourite Disney film, so I was very excited to visit the France Pavilion and see Beauty, the Beast, Cogsworth and Lumiere. The detailing that goes into the design of the topiaries was amazing, and I am so glad we got the chance to visit whilst the Flower Festival was happening.
The next stop I really enjoyed stopping in was Germany to see the seven dwarfs, Grumpy in particular as he is my favourite.
We spent half a day wandering around the world showcase taking in the sights and browsing in the shops. You could easily spend a full day at Epcot by delving deeper into the country pavilions, however we didn’t on this occasion as it was a really hot day.

They are so beautiful to look at and on our first visit the festival was on. I love the whole vibe of Epcot and the festival really adds to the theming of the park. Argh your pictures are making me want to go back x
I love Epcot in general anyway but the flower and garden festival was a bonus. I want to go back too and I’ve only just come home.
Oh I love the flower festival it is incredible, we went in August last year and really missed it x

Love the photo,s looks amazing, this is one park I was not to fussed about only going so master M could meet Anna and Elsa to be honest but just checked and the flower and garden festival will be on next year when we visit so must get Epcot planned in properly. Thanks for sharing.
