We had a busy day planned today, returning to Epcot in the morning for a leisurely stroll around the World Showcase and also to have a good look at the Flower and Garden Festival. I was so pleased when we booked during flower and garden because I love looking at the topiaries of all the characters.

We arrived in plenty of time this morning and went straight for our FastPass for Test Track. We had enjoyed it so much yesterday that I was glad we had Fastpassed it again. Our car came first this time around which was great.
For some reason both times we have been to Epcot we have navigated the World Showcase anti clockwise, meaning we visit Canada first. I think it’s because Hubby always wants to go and see the hockey merchandise.
Miss A saw a bracelet she wanted but we were at the point in the holiday now that I was becoming a little firmer in saying NO, as otherwise not only would we be poor, we wouldn’t be able to carry it all back home. Seeing as it was a bracelet however I bargained with her that if she went and asked how much it was she could have it. This strategy worked well as she had become very shy during this trip asking questions which was a little unusual.
Both happy with their purchases, we started wandering around the world, this time delving a little deeper into the pavilions rather than just bypassing them which was nice, as there is so much to see you could really spend hours and not see everything.
It was hot today, and I had debated veering off out of Epcot to have a wander to the Beach Club, but it was nearing lunch time so I decided not to mention it. We ended up eating in the American Pavilion which was lovely as we were all able to have different meals, and there was even child’s shrimp on the menu which pleased Miss A and it was so nice to see a change from chicken nuggets. Hubby and I enjoyed steak, fries and broccoli.

The line to meet Belle was short as we passed France, so we stopped for Miss A to see her and we told her all about our upcoming meal at Be Our Guest restaurant the following day. Belle gave Miss A some tips on how to dance with the Beast which pleased her.
Germany was one of my favourite pavilions this year purely for the seven dwarfs topiaries. One of my ultimate Disney World bucket list items is to meet the seven dwarfs, namely Grumpy as he’s my favourite, but I know I have to visit during Halloween or Christmas to be able to meet them at the special even parties.

After a very hot walk around the World Showcase we stopped off in Club Cool again for a drink. Everyone still thinks I’m crazy because I like the Beverly, but I would honestly be so happy to have a large cup full and enjoy it. We spotted the line for The Land was very short, so we enjoyed some cool air con as we rested our feet learning about all the plants and vegetation.
Back to the hotel for a swim to cool off our feet and it was soon time to make our way to Magic Kingdom for the Electrical Parade and Wishes. During our last trip in 2014, we made the mistake of leaving Wishes until the end of the holiday, but I didn’t want to make that mistake again, and Wishes was the only night time fireworks we hadn’t seen so far on this trip.
We had a good spot for the Electrical parade right outside the Emporium on the corner which was a great view. Miss A was able to sit on the pavement and we all stood. There are so many crowds but at least this year we had a good view at the front of the crowd unlike last time.
As the parade finished we walked up Main Street with the crowds to the top of the Hub to wait for Wishes to start. Miss A was getting tired now, but we all wanted to wait and watch the show which didn’t disappoint as usual. I think next time I would like to watch from a different angle.

A great end to a great day!
