The obsession for making slime in our house doesn’t seem to show any signs of stopping any time soon. There are so many slime recipes available, and we have tried many of them. Yet none of them seem to work as well as we hope they will so when we were offered the Glam Goo Deluxe Pack for review, it would have been silly to say no.
Inside the Glam Goo Deluxe pack you receive a clever purse which acts as your glam goo storage, a ring component which will also store the glam goo. You get two colours, electric blue and pinky promise, a violet vibes scent, a pot of slime and three decorations.
The pot of slime is large and starts off opaque which is a great starter. Abby enjoys playing with slime and it keeps her busy for hours on end, so before she started customizing her glam goo, she was playing with the plain slime which turns pearlescent when played with.
Blue is her favourite colour, so that was the first experiment of the afternoon as she added a small amount of electric blue. It turns a lovely turquoise colour, but sadly when the fragrance was added it didn’t seem to make too much different to the original aroma of the glam goo.
Choosing whether to add cloud crunch, daydreams or unicorn tears to the goo was a tough choice. In the end the first option was unicorn tears in the uncoloured slime. It turned out very glittery which was a hit.
The Glam Goo Deluxe Pack gets a big thumbs up from both Abby and myself. It can be used straight out of the box and everything is designed to keep the slime fresh and clean. Abby prefers to use the storage purse to store the slime in rather than use as a purse, but she can see the appeal for both uses for a slightly younger child.
The pot of slime however gets daily use, and there have been many smaller concoctions created over the last week. Glam Goo Deluxe Pack retails for £22.99.
