One of the best things about being at Disney World is all of the amazing varieties of food that are on offer. Being on holiday means that you can eat what you want right? Over our last two trips, I have been making lists and sampling different foods that have counted as snack credits on the Dining Plan. here are my 5 must have snacks at Disney World so far.

Dole Whip Float
You can purchase this from Aloha Isle in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom or from the Polynesian Resort. For just over $5 this large cup of fresh pineapple juice topped with pineapple flavour dole whip ice cream is the most refreshing thing you can hope for on a hot Florida day.
I managed to have two during our 2016 holiday, but I could honestly have one every day if I could get away with it.

Le Fous Brew
Found in Gaston’s Tavern in New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom is a spicy apple juice with a hint of marshmallow which has created a completely refreshing drink.
It’s quite a large serving for just over $4 and you can easily share it which we did as I found brain freeze was frequent when trying to drink it on my own.

Speciality Cupcake
The speciality cupcakes vary depending on where you purchase them, but this Star Wars beauty was found in Hollywood Studios this year. It’s a generous cupcake with plenty of frosting and decoration loaded on the top.
Edible flavoured candy rocks and a white chocolate BB8 on top of a lemon flavoured cupcake. This was perfect to eat whilst we were watching Fantasmic.

Minnie Mouse Cake
I spotted this Minnie Mouse cake in Old Port Royale Food Court at Caribbean Beach resort. It was a delicious mouse style base with a cake base and chocolate decoration.
It didn’t last long, but the best bit was it was packaged in a box from the food court so I could save it for after my dinner when I was peckish. The Minnie cake was around the $4-$5 mark.

Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich
You can’t go to Disney World and not try a Mickey Mouse ice cream. I prefer the Mickey Ice Cream sandwich as the outer coating is a biscuity base with loads of ice cream jammed in the middle. I thought it might be a bit messy to eat but it wasn’t at all.
All of the items above are available currently as a snack credit on the Dining Plan which makes them all a great choice in terms of value for money. With so many food choices available, my list is already growing for our next trip.
What are your must have snacks at Disney World?

How have I never had a dole whip before in our previous 3 visits. I love the choice of the snack credits, especially the goofy peanut snacks you can buy in the shops. I think I managed to bring home about 4 packs on our last trip x
I have always loved Dole Whips, but I think next time I’m going to try the Citrus Swirl
