Why Choose A Moderate Resort At Disney World?

The average room size for a standard Moderate room is approximately 314 square feet providing plenty of space for a family of four or five guests. This is compared to an average room size of 250 square feet in value Disney resorts.

Room sizes can often sleep up to five with the addition of a pull down bed for the fifth guest. The beds are queen size rather than a standard double, offering that little bit more room at an affordable price.

Moderate resorts also have some themed rooms. There are Royal themed rooms at Port Orleans Riverside and pirate themed rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach resort.

All of the rooms at moderate resorts have access via external doors, offering that feeling of even more space and fresh air.

The swimming pools in Disney moderate resorts all have slides, and many have quiet pools along side the main resort pool.

A moderate resort at Disney World offers an upgrade from basic accommodation facilities you can expect to find in the Disney value resorts. The resorts are closer to the parks that the value resorts, yet further away from the deluxe resorts.
