How To Get From Charles De Gaulle To Disneyland Paris

If you’re travelling from Charles De Gaulle to Disneyland Paris, you may be surprised to know there are a variety of transfer options you can choose from. The Charles De Gaulle airport in France is the closest airport to Disneyland Paris at just 21km away.

Orly airport is the second main Paris airport which offers transfer options to Disneyland Paris, but Charles De Gaulle is the most popular airport for arrivals for Disneyland Paris.

Magical Shuttle

The Magical Shuttle bus offers travellers direct transfers from CDG to Disneyland Paris. The coach service runs approximately every hour from the airport and takes around 60 minutes to arrive at Disneyland Paris. The cost is around 23 euros per person.

This service will transfer guests staying in a variety of onsite Disney hotels and also non partnered hotels in the area. Book your seats via the Magical Shuttle website prior to your arrival.

All the directions to find the bus collection point are handily accessible on the website. CGD airport is large and can appear daunting, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

If you are booking a return journey back to CDG airport via the Magical Shuttle, then it’s recommended that you book your journey around three and a half hours prior to your check in time at the airport.

If you don’t fancy travelling in a coach with other guests, there is also the option for booking a private shuttle via Magical Shuttle too. You can opt for a limousine, sedan or van travel. Charles de Gaulle to Disneyland Paris Via Train

You also have the option to travel by train from CDG to Disneyland Paris. There are train journeys from the airport that take around 10 minutes to the front of the parks.

A TGV train is a high speed train that travels between Terminal 2 at CDG and Disneyland Paris frequently. These are direct trains which means no changing along the route.

Getting around Charles De Gaulle airport can be made quicker with the free cdgval shuttle which travels between Terminal 1, Terminal 3 and Terminal 2. The shuttle runs every 8 minutes and is free to use.

They are a great option if you want to get to Disneyland Paris quickly and make the most of your time in the parks.

If you are staying in one of the Disneyland Paris hotels, and have a package with Disney tickets, you can also pre book the express luggage service also known as the Disney Express.

Just locate the Disney Express desk when you arrive at Marne-la-Vallé/Chessy train station. With your paperwork and luggage tags, you will be able to leave your luggage and find it waiting in your hotel when you return later.

TGV train

Marne-la-Vallé/Chessy train station is located right at the front of the Disneyland Parks, so if you’re arriving early in the morning, this is a great time saver to be able to enjoy your first full day in the parks.

The other option for travelling to Disneyland Paris via train from CDG airport is via the RER.

Private Airport Transfer

Another option to travel to Disneyland Paris from Charles De Gaulle airport is via a private airport transfer. There are a variety of different companies offering the transfer services, all available to book online in advance.

Once booked, you will find a driver waiting for you in arrivals to take you and your luggage to your pre booked hotel.

The meet and greet service is stress free as even if your plane is delayed, your driver will know your arrival time and be waiting. The journey time lasts around an hour from the airport to Disneyland Paris, however you will travel in comfort with your own private driver.

Should you choose to book the return journey with a private transfer, your driver will collect you from the lobby of your chosen hotel and drive you back to the airport. You’ll be dropped off outside the terminal you are travelling from.

Charles de Gaulle to Disneyland Paris Via Taxi

If you choose to get a taxi from CDG to Disneyland Paris, you’ll find this will work out to be one of the more expensive travel options. It’s a possibility however, and will take around an hour, chargeable via a taxi meter.

Official taxis will be waiting outside the airport terminals. The official taxis are recognisable by the light sign on the roof of the vehicle. It will cost around 70 euros in a taxi between CDG and Disneyland Paris during the day.
