Plan Your Day Trip To Disneyland Paris
Before you visit Disneyland Paris for the day, it’s a good idea to make a plan of everything you really want to see and do. Be realistic and prioritise those must see rides and attractions for your visit.
You may want to think about purchasing Disney Premier Access to skip some of those lines. The need for Disney Premier Access may only be needed on busier days in the parks. I suggest checking out our great guide to decide when it’s the best time to visit Disneyland Paris.
Disneyland Paris Parks
There are two parks at Disneyland Paris, both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. The most recent addition of the Avengers Campus in Walt Disney Studios Park has increased the popularity of visiting the Studios.
In Disneyland Park, you will find four lands, Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland. There are plenty of Disney favourites to discover after you have walked down Main Street U.S.A and decided which land to visit first.
In Walt Disney Studios Park you will find Toon Studio, Worlds of Pixar, Production Courtyard and Avengers Campus.
If you’ve never visited Disneyland Paris before, be reassured that both parks are next to each other and can be accessed easily when park hopping through your day.

Disneyland Paris Day Trip Itinerary
To make the most of your day trip to Disneyland Paris, it’s advisable to start your day as early as possible. Packing snacks and eating breakfast on the go is a great idea to cut down on some time spent eating.
There are great options for grabbing breakfast in Disney village on your way into the parks.
If you’re staying in a Disneyland Paris hotel, don’t forget to check out extra Magic time for the chance to access the parks before they open to the public.
Walt Disney Studios Park
Begin your day in the Walt Disney Studios Park. The first three rides I recommend are Crush’s Coaster, Tower of Terror and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force. Lines for Crush’s Coaster never seem to go down through the day so it’s advisable to begin your day there.
Alternatively you could purchase Disney Premier Access. Tower of Terror is quiet when the park opens for a short time, so the standby queue should be fine for this ride.
If you enjoy 4D rides, then experience Ratatouille: A Recipe for Adventure. The queue moves fairly quickly as the ride is continuous. You’ll shrink down to the size of a rat as you tour the kitchen of Gusteau’s restaurant and be discovered by Chef Skinner.
With the main rides achieved in Studios, check the app for wait times for any additional rides you may wish to experience.
Grab a drink and some food to refuel before visiting Disneyland Park. Ideally it should now be lunch time.
Disneyland Park
Ready for an afternoon in Disneyland Park? My top recommendations for rides in Disneyland Park are Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, Pirates of the Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain.
Hyperspace Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Blast are close to each other in Discoveryland. Pirates of the Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain are close to each other in Frontierland and Adventureland.
Check the wait times on the app and when you reach the end of Main Street U.S.A in front of Sleeping Beauty castle decide whether to turn left or right.
To save walking across the park and wasting time and energy, it’s a good idea if you can to visit the lands next to each other.
If you’re in need of a rest, why not visit one of the great shows at Disneyland Paris. Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a great excuse for a sit down if you’re nearby in Discoveryland. The show takes place across the afternoon in Disneyland Paris at regular timed intervals.
Perhaps once you’ve ridden the bigger rides, it’s time for a visit to Fantasyland. here you can find great family favourites including Peter Pan’s Flight. The lines for Peter Pan are often consistently long for some reason, but it’s always worth checking wait times on the app.
Evening At Disneyland Paris
How are the feet feeling? If you’re staying in the park for the evening, then you may be considering staying for the fireworks. The nighttime fireworks vary in time according to the time of year you visit Disneyland Paris.
Pay a visit to Disney Village to discover some of the great restaurants on offer. There are also great places to eat in the parks as well. I would recommend booking your restaurant if the restaurant allows reservations in advance.
Some restaurants in Disney Village don’t accept advance reservations. These include Rainforest Cafe and Annette’s Diner. I suggest joining the queue when there is a parade happening in the park.
