If you’re visiting Disney Springs, you may be looking for some new restaurants to try. Some of the best restaurants at Disney Springs are hidden gems that are sometimes overlooked.
Why not take some time out on your next Disney World vacation and discover some of the great places to eat in Disney Springs.
There are plenty of transport options for Disney Springs if you don’t want to take your own car. Whilst there are ample car parks, it might be fun to arrive by boat along the Sassagoula River. You can pick up the friendship boats from Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter resorts, as well as Old Key West resort.
The Boathouse
The Boathouse at Disney Springs is so special to us it’s actually where we had our wedding meal in 2019. No trip to Walt Disney World is complete without a meal or two at this incredible restaurant on the waterfront.
The restaurant decor features a sophisticated amphibious theme, which is mirrored with a variety of seafood dishes. However, for those who prefer something a little safer, there’s also a variety of burgers and steaks.
An entree usually retails for around $30 here. I’d recommend booking a table in advance, especially during evenings and the peak season as this is an incredibly popular location thanks to the waterfront views.
After dinner head out on one of the unique amphicar tours. These vehicles were created back in the 1960s and purchased from a private collection back in 2017 when the restaurant first opened.
Today there’s less than 400 in existence so this is likely going to be a once in a lifetime experience. These 25-minute tours currently cost $125 per car, and each car holds between 3 and 4 guests.

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
If you’re wondering where to eat at Disney Springs to be able to sample fried chicken and doughnuts – Chef Art Smith’s is the place to go!
Surely they wouldn’t work together? At Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ you can expect to find just that on the menu, and I can confirm yes the two menu items work really well together. You have to give it a go!
If doughnuts on your dinner plate isn’t your cup of tea, then you can expect to find plenty of barbecue items on the menu in this home style, friendly restaurant in Disney Springs.
The portion sizes at Chef Art Smith’s are HUGE and you may even be wanting to take leftovers home with you. We had no room for dessert and had to ask for ours to go!
If you have food allergies, then you’ll be pleased to find that the servers and chefs are more than accommodating.

City Works Eatery and Pourhouse
If you’re looking for a gourmet menu and a large selection of craft beer, then take a trip to City Works restaurant at Disney Springs.
There are over 90 different beers on offer, as well as classic American food choices. The perfect restaurant to watch the latest sporting games. If you’re not looking for a beer with your meal, you’ll be pleased to know there are plenty of additional drink choices as well.
The restaurant is located on the West Side of Disney Springs, is home to 17 wide screen TV’s, and good gluten free alternatives on the menu.
The Edison
Step back to the 1920’s into the Edison, where you will find the restaurant themed to look like a 1920’s electric company. You will be greeted with 35 feet ceilings and an array of themed areas including the telegraph lounge, the radio room, the lab, the Tesla lounge and the ember parlour.
If you like entertainment with your meal, then a trip to the Edison at Disney Springs is a must! You can often spot lives acts, including musicians and dancers.
Menu items on offer include classic American items such as sandwiches, salads, ribs, fish and burgers.
Frontera Cocina
Frontera Concina offers a Mexican menu by chef Rick Bayless, in the heart of Disney Springs in the Town center.
The restaurant has a modern feel to it, with outdoor seating and a take out window also available if you feel like grabbing a snack or drink as you wander around Disney Springs.
You wont find another Mexican restaurant currently at Disney Springs, so Frontera Concina is a must visit if you’re in the mood for Mexican.
House of Blues
On the West Side in Disney Springs, you will find the House of Blues. A rock and blues themed restaurant offering entertainment, good Southern American food and plenty of atmosphere.
Bottomless Bruch is available at House of Blues if you fancy trying something a little different, which also includes a choice of Mimosas or Bloody Mary’s.
There is both indoor and outdoor seating available, and often there will be a live band playing to add to your experience.
Jaleo
If you’re looking for a gourmet dining experience at Disney Springs, Jaleo is one of the best places to try. It’s one of several Jaleo restaurants around the country that are run by Jose Andres, who is widely considered to be one of the best Spanish chefs in the world.
There are many different ways to enjoy a wonderful meal at Jaleo, depending on your appetite and budget. The dishes are mostly small plates, so you can go with a group and enjoy sharing as many of the different creative tapas as you can.
But you can also have a wonderful meal as a duo or a solo diner and try one of Andres’s delicious tasting menus.
Jaleo has so many fantastic dishes, but some of the most popular tapas include the fried chicken croquettes, the pan con tomate (fresh bread slathered with ripe tomato), and the fried potatoes with aioli.
The chicken croquettes are even given their own Disney spin because they are sometimes served on a little pillow like Cinderella’s slipper. And don’t miss the scrumptious jamon iberico, which is sliced fresh in front of you.
For a larger main course, indulge in some of the paella or the giant shrimp sauteed in garlic. The friendly staff will be happy to suggest perfect wine or sherry pairings to go with your meal. Finish the whole thing off with a dessert like a classic Spanish flan.

Maria & Enzo’s
As the name suggests, Maria and Enzo’s is an Italian restaurant located at The Landing in Disney Springs. The restaurant is themed to a 1930’s airline terminal with high ceilings and a grand staircase.
You will be treated with floor to ceiling views of Lake Buena Vista when dining at Maria & Enzo’s.
There are plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options on the menu.
Morimoto Asia
Also at The Landing is Morimoto Asia, a two storey restaurant ready to take you on a journey across Asia.
You can expect menu items such as edamame and pork egg rolls as appetisers. Orange chicken, Peking duck, Ramen and noodles for your entree’s, and plenty of cocktails to tempt you along side wines and beers.
The restaurant showcases luxury with chandeliers and VIP entrances, however is welcoming to everyone.
Paddlefish
Paddlefish, once known as Fulton’s Crab House is also located on The Landing at Disney Springs, offering fine signature dining.
The restaurant, which is also a modern steamboat permanently moored along the shores of Lake Buena Vista started it’s life known as The Emporess Lilly in 1977. She was named after Walt Disney’s wife.
With fine dining and some luxury, you will also be treated to the only restaurant in Disney Springs that offers roof top level waterfront seating.
Paradiso 37
If you are looking to try some American street food, then you might want to visit Paradiso 37 at the Landing. You can expect live music, plenty of atmosphere and amazing views as you try popular menu items and perhaps tequila.
Planet Hollywood
You can often find a Planet Hollywood chain restaurant across the World, and this is no different at Disney Springs.
The busy and vibrant restaurant with decor from the movies and film stars around the World, once you’ve eaten in one Planet Hollywood, you’ve eaten in them all.
That’s not to be said it’s not worth a visit for the famous burgers and hot dogs that are on the menu, and the sparkling cocktails.
Raglan Road
If you’re looking for an Irish pub and restaurant in Disney Springs, then check out Raglan Road. You will be treated to amazing Celtic dancers and singing as you enjoy your meal.
This isn’t a quiet atmosphere, but a place to go to enjoy some culture, good food and traditional Irish offerings. One of the best places to eat at Disney Springs for breakfast, lunch and dinner to experience something a little different.
Rainforest Cafe
There are two Rainforest Cafe locations at Disney World. One in Disney Springs and the other at Animal Kingdom.
You can expect a themed experience in the rainforest, with interactive weather, and animals reacting throughout your meal.
The Rainforest Cafe is a great Disney World restaurant for the whole family to experience something a little different. Menu items include traditional burgers, fish and chips, ribs, salads and plenty more.
The portion sizes are large so expect to need to ask for a bag to go at the end of your meal.
Splitsville
Fancy a game of bowling whilst you take a break from the hustle and bustle at Disney World? At Splitsville, you can enjoy food and drink as well as enjoying a game or two.
You can also play some billiards, watch the live TV and enjoy live music across the two storey restaurant and bowling alley.
STK Orlando
If you’re hankering after a steak, then a visit to STK Orlando is a must. The two storey restaurant with an outdoor patio offers menu items including fresh seafood as well as a variety of steaks.
There are so many different options, you may have a difficult time choosing which cut to try with which side.
T-Rex Cafe
That faint roar you hear when you walk into Disney Springs isn’t your imagination! It’s Disney’s resident t-rex, located in one of the area’s coolest restaurants, the T-Rex Cafe. Stepping into this interactive restaurant is like stepping back in time—65 million years, to be exact.
Guests are treated to life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, regular meteor showers within the restaurant, and plenty of dinos, large and small, which move and roar to transport you back to the Jurassic.
Look out for overhead flying pterodactyls, friendly triceratops, and, of course, the fierce t-rex at the entrance. Wherever you’re seated in the restaurant, from the Octopus Bar to the main dining room, you’ll get impressive views of the animatronics.
T-Rex Cafe is plenty of fun for kids, thanks to the fossil discovery sandpit and the retail store, but it’s plenty of fun for adults too.
The restaurant isn’t just about entertainment though, as the food is also delicious. Seafood, burgers, pasta, and salads provide something for everyone, and there’s also a special menu for the kids.
The fun atmosphere makes the T-Rex Cafe one of my favorite restaurants in Disney Springs, even as an adult. Even if you don’t have time for a meal, or can’t get a reservation, you can still pop into the retail store or have a drink at the bar to get a look at the amazing prehistoric interior.

Terralina Crafted Italian
Terralina Crafted Italian is one of the most underrated restaurants on Disney property. Most people automatically think of Epcot when they think of Italian food at Disney World, but Terralina Crafted Italian is the perfect Disney Springs alternative.
Located in The Landing right along the water, the views are as amazing as the food.
The menu at Terralina Crafted Italian is expansive and includes everything from pizza to pasta to sandwiches. There is something on the menu for everybody no matter your preferences. The chefs also do an incredible job working with people who had dietary restrictions like being gluten free or vegan.
The appetizers should not be skipped. Even the simplest appetizers like bruschetta or meatballs are far more delicious than you would think. The mozzarella-stuffed rice balls are my favourite appetizer, and you won’t regret ordering them!
Terralina Crafted Italian limits the number of reservations that can be made through the Disney World app, so it can look like they’re always full when they actually aren’t.
You can normally find reservation slots available on the Open Table app or can walk up to the restaurant and get a table within thirty minutes.
Terralina Crafted Italian is my go-to restaurant in Disney Spring. It has some of the best Italian food on property and has a much more relaxed atmosphere than the Italian restaurants in Epcot.

Wine Bar George
Wine Bar George offers more than 140 wines by the glass! You can enjoy small plates as well as take away options along side the full menu which has been designed to compliment the wines on offer.
The bar and restaurant is spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect if you are stopping for a short while to sample a different wine, or perhaps staying for something more substantial.
Wolfgang Puck
One of the best places to eat in Disney Springs if you want to be right in the town centre is Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill.
The menu offers Mediterranean influences on the comfort food choices. These include menu items such as pizza, steak, salmon and spaghetti.
