One of the popular places to find stargazing pods in the UK are located in a village green setting at Alton Towers Resort. The stargazing glamping pods are suitable for up to four people, perfect for family breaks, couples and friends.
If you’re planning on visiting Alton Towers, you could expand your stay and stay overnight in one of the wooden pods for a very unique theme park stay.
Each pod has one double bed and two singles, with bed linen provided. Whilst the stargazing pods don’t have their own bathroom facilities inside, a toilet and shower block is located nearby.

When the sun goes down and the stars come out, you can look through the on site telescopes at the night sky. What will you see?

At Loveland Farm in Devon, you can stay in a clear panelled dome, perfect for watching the night sky. The stargazing pod sleeps up to six guests, with the bedrooms at the back, and the lounge area showcasing the view of the stars.

You can stay in this stargazing pod in Devon all year round. The pod is heated by oil heaters, but packing extra layers is probably a good idea if staying in the Winter months.
Everything is provided for you apart from towels, so do pack your own. Your private bathroom is also included inside your pod, as well as a fully functioning kitchenette.
Your stay will be fully self catered, however there is an on site shop for essentials, and if you don’t feel like cooking, Friday night is pizza night at Loveland Farm, which is open seasonally through the year.
