Review – Palmers Eventone Suncare Spray

I may have mentioned a few or even quite a few times that we are going back to Walt Disney World again this Summer. One thing we notice when spending a lot of time in the Florida heat is how much time we spend stopping to apply suncream.

Obviously this happens a lot due to the heat, and we have to find suncream products that we all are happy with. We have spent some time trying out Palmers Eventone Suncare spray.

Palmers Eventone Suncare Spray

Palmers have recently brought out their first range of suncare in lotion and spray form. Palmers Eventone Suncare spray uses their CocoaPlex technology to optimise skin friendly properties of cocoa butter, helping to prevent age spots, and uneven skin tone. The brand promises no white residue, is water-resistant and has an SPF to suit everyone.

Abby is very fussy when it comes to having sun cream applied. She doesn’t like anything that feels sticky on her skin, or that takes ages to absorb, or even having the remains of sun cream left on her body or face. It can be quite a battle to get her to apply sun cream of any kind, and no-one needs a battle when on holiday.

When we were offered the Palmers Eventone Suncare spray to review, I jumped at the chance, as I had been thinking in preparation for this year’s holiday to try sprays instead of lotions to see how they compared and if they could save us time as well.

Thankfully we’ve had some good weather in the last few weeks where we have been able to test out the Palmers Eventone Suncare spray. Knowing it was a spray, Abby was more than keen to use it, and happily sprayed it on herself. I did also insist on rubbing it into the skin as well.

I always think that if you spray and go, the product may not be as effective, and I don’t want to learn the hard way.

First impressions from both myself and Abby have been positive. It doesn’t feel sticky on your skin which is a big win all round. The spray absorbs quickly and there is no urgent need to wash hands that even I get when using some sun lotions.

We have been using the SPF30 spray, but the product is also available in SPF50. The 150g spray bottle has plenty to keep a family in sun protection whilst on holiday. I will definitely invest in more of these for the future, as it has been doing a great job protecting my family in the last few weeks in the sun as we prepare for our holiday. It has a lovely cocoa butter smell as well which is always a bonus.

After holiday update – The Florida sun is brutal and it’s so important to stay covered and protected. We used the Palmers Eventone Suncare spray on holiday and found it very convenient for applying sun protection on the go, quickly and without mess.

**We received the sun spray free of charge however all opinions are our own**
