Do you love glamping? Getting away from it all for a night or two with the sounds of nature around you sounds amazing. Luxury doesn’t have to be far away either though, and there are plenty of glamping holidays with a hot tub available in the UK for that added luxurious touch.
Glamping is a great way to go camping but with some added comfort. You can even find some amazing glamping sites to stay where they offer beds to sleep in and en suite bathroom facilities so no sharing that bathroom block!

If you want to get away from it all in a stunning rural setting with lots of countryside to play in, then Felin Geri ticks all the boxes. Set in a hidden valley in the heart of rural Ceredigion, this site is perfect for couples looking for a romantic glamping holiday in Wales as well as families wanting the freedom to enjoy nature safely.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome too. The self-catering tents are safari-style, with plenty of living room inside for up to 6 people, and have their own private verandas and ensuite bathrooms.
Each tent has its own hot tub too (for an extra fee), with views of the surrounding valley, perfect for relaxing in an evening watching the stars. There’s a small honesty shop for all your glamping essentials, as well as a restaurant and bar on site for when you don’t fancy cooking.
Nearby you’ll discover several beaches and coastal walking trails, as well as numerous castles and heritage sites and even a gin distillery.

Located between Tintagel and Bodmin, you can’t help but feel pleased at the view from your Wigwam cabin at Great Tregath glamping site. Whether you opt for a normal cabin, or one with a wood-fired hot tub, you’ll find that all of the cabins are spacious enough for a family of 4. Dogs are welcome too!
We stayed in a cabin without a hot tub this time – myself, my husband and my two young daughters (5 and 2). The cabins have everything you need including an ensuite with shower so there’s no need to worry about sharing any communal bathroom facilities.
They also have essential kitchen equipment including a hob, fridge, toaster, microwave and a kettle. Cabins also come with wifi included.
For a small extra fee you can get bedding, washing up essentials, fire pack for the bbq as well as marshmallow/hot chocolate packs! Everything has been thought of!
Nearby there are numerous beaches and also the Camel Trail for anyone who enjoys cycling. There are plenty of local pubs/pasty shops to enjoy! Our favourite place to visit locally was Port Isaac but for a beach, you really can’t beat Trebarwith Strand.

Glamping in Somerset at Secret Valley, near Bridgewater in Somerset, has some extra special aspects.
Nestled in the Quantocks, Secret Valley has its own vineyard and wine tasting for the adults. Bookable in advance, you’ll get to sample the wines grown on vines right next to your accommodation.
Farm animals including super cute miniature donkeys and goats will keep the children amused as will the indoor games room. Toasting marshmallows over the campfire or watching the goats, strolling around the site or playing in the games room, there is a lot to do here!
Farm tours are available and there is an outdoors activity centre just next door at BlackRock, coarse fishing on site and even a pamper pod for a massage.
Every day the farmer comes round and you can buy wine or other necessities. BBQ and breakfast packs are also available. The large communal kitchens are great should the weather turn and a bbq not be possible.
Accommodation options range from lodges and wigwams to shepherds huts, belle tents and yurts. Secret Valley is ideal for families and dogs are welcome but some of the accommodation is perfect for a romantic mini break, especially the shepherds’ huts.
Groups are welcome and you can even have your wedding at Secret Valley. For the hot tub option, choose from a Deluxe Lodge, Hillview Wigwam or Shepherds Hut.
Now sit back and enjoy the wood fired hot tub with a bottle of Secret Valley’s own wine. Cheers!

Tom’s Eco Lodge is a complex of luxury lodges, pods and safari tents attached to the popular Tapnell Farm Park attraction. Located a short drive from the Wightlink Ferry terminal at Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight, we stayed in a three bedroomed luxury lodge with a hot tub that is both pet and family-friendly.
Outside, the lodge has enclosed decking with incredible views looking out over the countryside. The hot tub is private and enjoys the same far-reaching views. Inside, the lodge has everything you could wish for (except a TV, but it has a radio).
The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and equipment and there is solid hand-built furniture that adds to the ‘lodge’ feel. The bedrooms are 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk bed room. Finally, there’s two bathrooms. We visited over Christmas, and it was really cosy and warm.
Every morning the children would visit the chickens for fresh eggs – a highlight for them. There’s an honesty box for donations. A huge draw to the complex is its proximity to the children’s farm, Tapnell Farm Park; the entrance is a quick 5 minute walk away.
Inside the Farm Park is an excellent café during opening hours, and lots of fun activities for the children (go-karting is very popular), as well as a petty zoo and lots of animals to learn about. The Cow restaurant (requires booking) is also on site, serving the most amazing burger meals.
