The National Trust owned Crantock Beach in North Cornwall is dog friendly all year round. The great news is that the parking charges are also FREE for National trust members. There are plenty of dunes to explore along the beach, as well as lifeguard cover seasonally.
Daymer Bay North Cornwall

You can enjoy amazing views at Daymer Bay if you climb the grassy mound of Braey Hill. This sandy beach in Cornwall welcomes dogs all year round. The beach feels quite secluded due to all the sand dunes and hills.
Fistral Beach North Cornwall

Gorran Haven Beach is a dog friendly sandy beach in St Austell in Cornwall. It’s a very sheltered beach with the facilities of the village available to you.
Public toilets are also available near the slipway, and a large car park is a short walk away. Dogs are welcome all year round at Gorran Haven Beach.

Mawgan Porth Beach North Cornwall

If you enjoy finding rock pools, then Mawgan Porth Beach is a must visit in Cornwall. There is plenty of golden sand to enjoy, especially during low tide.
During the Summer months, you’ll find seasonal lifeguard cover, and there is a car park just across the road from the beach. The South West Coast path is also very accessible from Mawgan Porth Beach if you’re a keen walker.
Mullion Cove Beach West Cornwall

The National Trust owned Mullion Cove beach in Cornwall is dog friendly all year round. If you’re visiting with children, then Mullion Cove is also a great place to go crabbing. A fun, FREE activity guaranteed to provide lots of fun.
The picturesque harbour was built way back in the 1890’s, and is now a great shelter to the small fishing fleet.
The beach is really only accessible when the tide is out, so it’s a good idea to be prepared and check tide times before you visit.
Perranporth Beach North Cornwall

Whilst dogs are welcome at Perranporth Beach in North Cornwall all year round, they must be kept on leads during July and August.
You’ll find lifeguard cover between Easter and September, which is great as the beach can get busy during peak times. You’ll even find a pub right on the beach!
Porth Beach North Cornwall

You’ll find Porth Beach in North Cornwall. This dog friendly beach does have a seasonal dog ban during the peak Summer months, but a visit between October and Easter allows you to take your dog along too.
The beach at Porth is quite a narrow beach, and you’ll also find a footpath which leads to Porth Island. There are also plenty of pubs and cafes nearby.
Port Isaac Beach North Cornwall

If you’re a fan of the hit TV series Doc Martin, then you’ll have no doubt heard of Port Isaac Beach. The great news is this beach on the North Cornwall coast welcomes dogs all year round.
You’ll find plenty of rock pools at low tide, and there’s lots of picturesque views to be seen. The town’s main car parks are around a ten minute walk away.
Porthkidney Beach West Cornwall

When the tide is out at Porthkidney beach, there is sand for as far as you can see. The beach is open to dogs all year round and is also a popular spot for surfing.
There is seasonal lifeguard cover at Porthkidney beach and limited parking nearby.
Seaton Beach East Cornwall

Seaton beach has a decent size car park close to the beach and some on road parking as well. There is a lifeguard in situ during the Summer season.
Dogs are welcome on Seaton beach all year round, and it’s a popular place to walk the dog. If you’re looking for a quiet beach with not many dogs then you may want to avoid this beach. Taking your dog to the beach for a day out is great at Seaton beach however.
Watergate Bay Beach North Cornwall

You’ll find multiple car parks if you’re wishing to visit Watergate Bay. The beach welcomes dogs all year round, and at low tide there is plenty of space for them to run around.
If you’re an avid walker, then Watergate Bay is close to the coastal paths, perfect for exploring.
