Which Disney Park Should You Visit?

It’s no secret that I love Disney, I talk about it all the time on the blog. We’ve been lucky enough to have two holidays of a lifetime to Disney World in Florida now, one in 2014 and then again in 2016.

I didn’t know a lot about any of the Disney Parks before we booked our first trip, and since I have gotten the bug, I know I would love to visit them all one day. I knew that Disneyland in California was the first to open, and we have looked at going there one day, but the flight time puts me off at the moment.

Aside from the flight time, I do wonder if I would be disappointed with only being able to visit two parks at Disneyland California compared to six at Disney World. The Disneyland resort also has the smallest castle (although I would love to see them all and compare). I think perhaps I have been spoiled by visiting Disney World as my first experience.

I will be honest when I say Hong Kong has never been on my bucket list of places to visit, but to be able to see a different Disney park, I would make the trip. Sleeping Beauty’s castle does look quite impressive doesn’t it.

The closest park to us is Disneyland Paris. I would like to visit, but the rest of the family would rather spend the additional money and get warmer weather whilst on holiday. I can understand that, but it would be nice to get a Disney fix that is a couple of hours away rather than a long haul flight away.

To visit all six Disney parks in the world would take some planning and organising I think. To include the latest addition of Shanghai Disney Resort that hosts the largest Disney castle,  I think we would be racking up a lot of miles in the air to see them all. What an experience that would be though. Deciding which Disney park to visit next is almost as much fun as actually going. I love the planning aspect of Disney holidays and my guidebook collection of the parks is growing by the month. Just because I haven’t been able to visit doesn’t mean I can’t learn as much about them as possible right?

Disney World holds my heart at the moment, and I will forever be saving to go back. I use different ways of saving such as finding deals and discounts on any purchases we make via My Voucher Codes. Every little helps towards the next holiday of a lifetime. Which Disney park would you most like to visit?

  1. Some interesting facts, and I would love to visit all the parks, like yours mine love the florida park as at least you have some sunshine, but there is something about trying somewhere new and we have looked into going to Japan, and California. Best start saving though.
