Disney’s Fort Wilderness Activities

Disney’s Fort Wilderness activities are guaranteed to keep you busy when you need a break from the parks. You don’t have to be a guest staying at the resort to enjoy some of these activities. The main exception are the pools, as they are only available to guests of the resorts.

Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is in the Magic Kingdom area, and is just a short boat trip away from the park. Travelling across to Fort wilderness by boat is a lovely way to travel and see some different sights.

Whilst you’re at the resort, don’t forget to check out Trails End restaurant, and the great dinner and show, Hoop Dee Doo Revue.

Some of these Fort Wilderness activities are temporarily unavailable due to the current situation in the World. Please check out the official guidance for booking.

Fort Wilderness Pools

The feature pool at Fort Wilderness resort is Meadow Swimmin’ pool. It has a 67-foot-long corkscrew waterslide, and a fort-themed water play area right next to the pool.

Why not visit the ranch and take a wander through the stables. You may be able to spot the horses that walk up and down Main Street U.S.A in Magic Kingdom, or Cinderella’s ponies.
