When did Father’s Day sneak up on my and become next weekend? I thought I had ages yet, but clearly not. Still, thankfully this year, Miss A and I have a clear idea on what to buy. Clothes are on the agenda this year as for some reason all of Hubby’s jeans have gotten very tired all at the same time, and so have a lot of his tee shirts as well.
Hubby is a huge hockey fan and recently bought himself a new top when we visited Epcot World Showcase from the Canada shop, but when I spotted this hockey t-shirt I knew he would like it. Every Daddy is a super hero right? Miss A spotted this super hero t-shirt and thought her Dad would like it.
The jeans are a must for a gift due to the diminishing pairs in our house at the moment. There was no difficult decision to be made with these which was quite nice.
There really is so much choice when it comes to buying for Father’s Day, and it doesn’t have to be the same gifts every year if you have no inspiration. I am a big fan of buying useful gifts and thoughtful gifts, but I think clothes are a good idea as they have practical uses as well as being thoughtful. Miss A and I could have chosen so much for her Dad looking through the House of Fraser gift guide, but we have a budget to stick to and I think her choices are good ones for me to select from to purchase.
