It’s no secret that I love going to Disney, if you’re not sure what I’m going on about then I suggest you read my holiday
Some people would say that perhaps I plan too much, but I think it all adds to the #holidayhype as the day draws nearer. It’s a bit like Christmas isn’t it, we wait so long for the day to come and we’re almost more excited in the lead up to it than on the day itself. That’s what planning a holiday is like for me. I do think a Disney holiday requires slightly more planning than your average holiday, however I think I will be just as excited about making lists if we were going on a sunny holiday.
Planning isn’t just about making my lists of what I would like to do when we’re on the holiday, it also covers the shopping for the new Disney inspired outfits. I’m not so keen on the actual packing part of it though when I’ve shopped, which means I fit into the 69% of the people who don’t enjoy packing according to a recent YouGov survey. There’s nothing fun for me trying to make it all fit inside the suitcase and remembering what I need to add to it the next day.
Going on a holiday to somewhere like Disney World makes me a lot more relaxed than going on a beach holiday. So many of us worry about what we look like on the beach that it can take the fun out of the holiday whilst you’re there. Europa Pharmacy are trying to change the beach ready conversations by getting people to understand what excites them about their holiday such as the planning does for me. I spend so much time inside my holiday planning bubble that I forget all about what I might be looking like the first time I put on my bikini.
Knowing I am sitting on the plane, secure in my mind that we have a plan that can be changed if we need it to is perfect for me and I can relax and let the holiday start.
How do you get excited about your holiday?
