Easter isn’t Easter without an egg hunt is it. Last year we went across to Brownsea
I wasn’t responsible for hiding the eggs, but I have to say they were place in some very creative places that the children walked past on some occasions. All the eggs were counted before hiding so we knew how many had to come back in, and there were a certain amount of three different sized eggs to be collected each.
The whole egg hunt took the children around ten minutes of dashing around trying to collect their alloted amount before they had to recoup indoors to count up and decide what was missing. It turns out there was one elusive egg that hadn’t been found so everyone had to search for the missing chocolate. Even the person who hid the eggs couldn’t remember where the last one might have been.
We were a little concerned about not finding it and then the dog might come across it and eat it, but thankfully, the final egg presented itself to us in a flowerpot.
Did you have an egg hunt this Easter?
