Special moments arrive and pass frequently in our children’s lives, and there are some that you really wish you could preserve forever, or capture to never forget them.
As Miss A has grown up we have obviously had so many special moments (X moments). but one that has really stuck out was when we surprised her with our first trip to Disney
I remember it so well, and the grown ups were staged around her to be able to capture the moment from different angles. She opened the box, read the side of the balloon that said Happy Birthday and we prompted her to turn it over to read the rest. I remember watching her face as she read it, then she looked at me with a questioning expression and I nodded. She then said, Disney in Paris? and we all said no it would be Florida.
This moment is when it started to sink in as she turned to look at her Dad behind her, and the she was overwhelmed and ran to him and started crying. It was such a precious moment, and one I’ll never forget.
