Sunshine and Snowballs – A Review

Sunshine And Snowballs A #bookreview - The Life Of Spicers

We were recently sent some books from Parragon to review as part of their blogger review scheme. Sunshine and Snowballs covers the seasons, and all different weathers.

It’s a nice size book for children to pick up and read, and the pages are of decent quality. I think this book is aimed at children 3-6 years, as my daughter is on the upper end of this scale at six years old. She enjoyed reading the book to learn about the weather and the different seasons of the year and what comes with them.

I liked the art work in the book. The pictures were very artistic, which was that little bit more grown up than bright, bold images.

From an educational point of view, this book had some good snippets of information, such as flowers growing, and what lightening looks like when it strikes. It gave me as a parent good opportunities to expand on the story to input some facts about the weather as well.

Overall we give this book 4/5.
