There is something about stationery that makes me want lots of it. Abby has also inherited my love of stationery too and has a room full to bursting of notebooks, pens and all things stationery that catch her eye. Her recent loves are her Smiggle
I was recently sent some stationery essentials which contained a Leuchtturm 2018 diary in copper and also a personalised pen to co-ordinate and finish the set. I knew instantly when I saw the copper diary, that I was going to choose this. I have developed a love for all things copper at the moment, and having used Leuchtturm products before for Bullet Journalling, I knew I would like the quality and style of the diary.
Inside the diary, A5 sized is a two page layout for the week, with Monday to Sunday on the left hand page and a ruled page for notes on the right hand side. I love this layout idea as I often don’t need a lot of space for writing everything I need to remember in the week, but sometimes it’s good to be able to remind myself of important dates, birthdays etc as well.
The pages are of a good quality paper, with no bleeding from my pens. It’s thin enough to fit in my handbag without being too bulky, but being A5 in size, means that I’m not trying to write in tiny writing to fit everything in. Am I the only one who doesn’t like slim line mini diaries?
I also had the option to be able to emboss my diary from Pen heaven, so I chose the words Dream Big, as each time I look at it, I can reminded that anything can be achieved if you work hard enough at it.
Choosing a Parker Pen to go with my diary was a joy. I chose to have this engraved with my blog name which looks lovely in Italic, and would make a lovely gift idea for anyone not knowing what to buy someone. The pen is available in a variety of colours, however I chose the orange tones to match my copper diary. The pen writes in blue ink, and flows well on the page. It’s a very comfortable pen to hold. Why not view the whole range over on Pen heaven’s website.
I have been very happy with my new stationery essentials from Pen heaven, and I would love to say I’ve been saving my diary for next year but it’s already had a lot of information filled in.
