Finding time for family days out is one thing, but finding the money for lots of adventures can be challenging as well. I’ve been scouring the internet to find you some of the great deals available to save money out & about during October & November 2017.
Theme Parks & Attractions
We love visiting theme parks, our favourites so far are Legoland and Chessingtons, but entry tickets can be really expensive, and that’s before you even think about the travel costs to get there.
Free and Cheap Days Out
If you’re looking for some ideas for free days out then how about visiting the beach? Beaches aren’t just for the Summer and can be great fun through the Autumn too.
If the beach isn’t your ideal place for a day out, then check out local forests and country parks near you. Often they’re free aside from any car parking charges that may apply.
The National Trust have lots of activities during October which are centred around Halloween. Membership to National Trust properties is as little as £9.50 per month for a family membership. We save so much money with our membership throughout the year. Check out our spooky day out at Corfe Castle in Dorset last year for Halloween.
Be prepared for your days out whatever the weather by packing your all weather gear, and taking a packed lunch. Don’t forget the wellies if you’re planning on finding some puddles.
