Being a busy working Mum often means that I am last on the list when it comes time for relaxing and pampering myself. I know I’m definitely not the only one out there that deals with this on a daily basis, so I have decided to collate some relax and pamper gifts to help all you busy people take some time out.
I love reading and any spare time I get, you can often find me with my head in a book. Recently I have been reading more self improvement books, and was very kindly sent The Expansion Game by Gosia Gorna. Sharing the methods she uses to free from self doubt and failure. We all need a bit of that from time to time don’t we. I know I definitely do.
I am the first to admit that I don’t like early dark mornings. I am a big fan of the Lumie range, and have been trying out the Lumie Bodyblock Iris, a clock to help you unwind at night with a fading sunset light coupled with aromatherapy, and also a gradual light to help you wake in the mornings. I have used a Lumie body clock in the past and it definitely helped me wake easier in the mornings.
Having pets in the house, I am always ultra careful about candles, and whilst I love them, I don’t use them very often. I do however really enjoy having a reed diffuser out. The cashmere noir from Fake Bake Beauty is a stylish and luxurious reed diffuser that smells amazing.
Health and Beauty
Make up and oils are never something I treat myself to very often, however I was sent some lovely products from Douvall’s, an organic, ethically sourced skincare range created by Alicia Douvall. Lip and cheek tints are a great two in one product, and the Argan Multi Balm is proving very useful in this colder weather we’ve been having lately.
My eyes have certainly been opened to the possibilities of using Argan oil as a moisturiser rather than opting for creams as I have always done.
Making time to relax and pamper yourself is very important, so I hope this post has given you some ideas on how to treat yourself.
