There is no better excuse for a shopping trip when you are planning your holiday wardrobe is there! I have been thinking about what I will be taking on holiday this year for a couple of weeks now. We know the weather is going to be very hot from going to Disney in July on previous years. I also know I have a few bits and pieces that I bought last year that may well come in handy this year too.
I like to start by jotting down a list of everything I think I would like to take on holiday. My list is obviously dependent on where we are going and what the weather is going to be like. As we’re going to be experiencing the heat this year then my list will contain lots of Summery items. I will often use my bullet journal to make my list in as then I wont forget where I wrote it. Writing my packing list when I recently went on holiday taking only hand luggage was a little trickier, but proved it can be done.
I like to browse online once I have my list and know what I am going to buy. Getting a bargain and searching for deals really helps to save more money for holiday spends, it’s even better when I spot a voucher code for AX Paris who have some lovely dresses that would be perfect for holiday. It’s amazing the deals that you can find by browsing around online, and when using coupon codes along with already good prices, it can really take the stress out of a shopping trip into town.
Shopping In Store
After I have found my online bargains, I will often pop into town to get the last bits and pieces. A couple of reasons for this, especially if we’re going to Walt Disney World is to get the Disney licensed tops which I love to wear around the parks. I often get asked where I bought my shirt from by American’s and it’s great to find outfit appreciation by fellow Disney addicts.
Shopping in store is also great for picking up some good priced flip-flops and strappy tops that may only last one season, but are a fantastic price for wearing on holiday. I then don’t have to worry about getting sun lotion stains on them.
When I’m planning my holiday wardrobe, I always follow the above steps. How do you plan your holiday wardrobe?
