If you read my blog, you’ll know that I have recently started wearing glasses for screen time. I am getting used to my glasses now after a shaky start, but something I wasn’t expecting was that I am getting glasses envy when I look at other people’s glasses. Obviously I wasn’t going to be able to just go and buy new frames every time I saw some I liked, but when I was introduced to Glassesshop.com I realised that you can actually get cheap glasses without any trouble at all.
I spent ages browsing the site which has a wide selection of glasses and prescription sunglasses for men, women and children. Being able to search by colour, frame shape and size was a great help for my narrow face. I eventually settled on the Peoria prescription eyeglasses in black which were just $19.95 ( £12.58). What a bargain!
When my glasses arrived, I was eager to try them. I wasn’t sure what to expect being the first time I have ordered glasses off the internet. I supplied my prescription and pupillary distance (which you can get from your optician) for my glasses to be made for me.
The glasses arrived well packaged in their own case with cleaning cloth, so I was eager to see how they looked and felt.
I really liked the detailing on the arms of the glasses which despite being made of plastic, actually feel really nice on my face. I was wondering how they would compare to the frames I received from the opticians, but they are actually nicer in my opinion, and for the price I really can’t complain and will definitely purchase again in the future. If I needed anything to seal the deal it would be the fact they also sell prescription sunglasses which, whilst I don’t need prescription sunglasses, I do need new sunglasses as Miss A has managed to stretch my old ones.
Disclosure – I received the glasses free of charge but all opinions are our own
