I’ve spotted a few other bloggers showcasing their top ten posts of 2015 in the last couple of days and I thought it would be a great idea to look back and reflect on where my blog has come from during the year. It’s been a difficult year personally this year but I am hoping 2016 brings a calmer and more positive energy.
I can’t believe this blog is just over three years old now and there have been some posts that I cringe at when I look back, but I have written some content that I am very proud of as a blogger, writer and parent. I can honestly say I learn something new every day surrounding blogging and social media and that’s part of what makes blogging fun.
According to my GA stats, my most popular blog post of 2015 is…….
I originally wrote this post in 2013 as my eldest was about to turn 18 years old. It’s hard to believe she’ll be 21 in a few months and has been off living her life with her new family for a little while now.
We stayed at Caribbean Beach resort during our 2014 Disney holiday and we’re staying there again during our 2016 holiday. I loved writing this post, and I’m glad it’s been popular as I hope that potential travellers to Disney will find the information in the post interesting and helpful.
Another post I really enjoyed writing. We learnt so much from our first trip that I wanted to share the knowledge we have to help first time visitors to Disney to help them save money on what has the potential to be a very expensive holiday.
I can see a trend starting here already. Another post I really enjoyed writing as I am hoping to pass on some of the useful information that will help anyone booking a holiday to Disney World.
Another Disney World post! We were lucky enough to have our holiday to Disney just after the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had opened. Two roller coasters in the same park were great and they are similar but yet different so it was great to compare them. It’s a popular search term on my blog.
I wrote this post a little while after getting Lola in the Summer of 2014. We learnt a lot when she came into our lives and I hope I have provided some helpful hints and tips to anyone looking to welcome a puppy or dog into their lives.
Back to Disney posts. All 2016 Disney holidays include Memory Maker in the price if you stay on Disney property which adds amazing value to your holiday. I wanted to look back through the photos and memories we collected to see if it is worth paying the extra money for and I concluded it was a big fat yes!
If you’re following a Slimming World diet, pizza is generally out of the question due to the pizza base. It can be Slimming World friendly though by using a gammon steak as your base.
Back to Disney, no surprise there! Disney’s two waterparks both have great attractions but if you only have time to visit one, which should it be? Hopefully I have covered enough about both parks to give some impartial advice to help you make a choice.
I have a love of activity trackers and have used both Fitbug products over the last couple of years. When you’re spending money on a fitness gadget it’s good to be able to compare to see which will work for you.
Looking back over my top 10 posts of 2015, I can clearly see where my passions lie with myself and my readers. I’m passionate about Disney and looking forward to discovering so much more about Disney World in 2016 as well as exploring plenty of other passions that I want to share with you all.
Thanks for staying along for the ride this year, and here’s to a happy and healthy 2016.
