We have had a rare Bank Holiday to ourselves with no plans, so whilst we knew we had to make a start on the big declutter happening in our house, we also wanted to go out and enjoy some of the fresh air as well whilst the weather was so nice. We decided to go an visit a pick your own farm as this is something Miss A has never done. She wasn’t that keen to start with, but once we got there and she went off with her punnet fruit picking she was in her element, and was happily collecting fruit for everyone.
Some of the strawberries were really small, but I think this has had a lot to do with the weather we’ve been having over the last couple of years. We still managed to fill our punnet quite quickly though, with a little munching along the way.
Daddy has never liked strawberries, but he tried one in the fields as Miss A asked him to, and then we couldn’t stop him eating them. A new found love for him.
We also picked up a squash from the shop when we paid. All of this was £6.48 which I think is a real bargain.
