I have very bad circulation in my hands and feet, and am always trying to find ways to stay warm. Now the weather is starting to turn colder, my feet are already beginning to feel it, so I dread to think how cold they’ll be when it really gets cold in a few months.
I have seen Heat Holders as a brand around for a little while and been intrigued with their products that they offer, so when they asked if I would like to try their Heat Holder Welly Socks, I really couldn’t refuse.
Heat Holder Thermal Socks
- are over 7 x warmer than a basic cotton sock
- have a 2.3 tog rating
- hold more warm air close to the skin, keeping feet warmer for longer
- have a long looped thermal pile
- have a soft brushed inner
I knew I was going to wear these a lot with my wellies, as they are long enough, and my feet always freeze in wellies. Putting them on for the first time, I was amazed at how soft they were. The pile really is soft, and they fit my feet really well considering the size of the sock I received is 4-8 and I am a size 5.
I was a little worried that the thickness of the socks would make my wellies too tight, but whilst snug on my feet they didn’t make the footwear too uncomfortable so you wouldn’t need a bigger size shoe to accommodate these socks.
These socks retail for around £8, and I think they’re worth every penny in keeping my feet warm. Being cold for me makes me miserable, which no-one likes to be.
