You all know 7yo loves reading, and she is happy to give almost anything a try. In the last few weeks she’s been reading a few new books, and been introduced to a new series to catch up with.
Priced at £10.99, this gift edition was published as part of the Horrid Henry Twenty Year celebrations from earlier this year.
Have you ever thought what it’s like to do a certain job or career? These two books What Do The Grown Ups Do are a great insight for children to take a look at what it might be like for them. The books are heavy on the pictures but very factual in a simple way for children to understand.
Written through the eyes of children rather than adults attempting to explain how something might work, What do the grown ups do are priced at £7.99 each.
Discovering a new series of books is always exciting, and after reading Mystery at Summer Camp earlier this year, 7yo was eager to start reading the first and second term at L’Etoile. This series is written by Holly Willoughby and her sister Kelly. Based on a boarding school for singers, dancers and musicians. It captures the imagination of girls as it covers all the normal friendship treasures and troubles that girls go through whilst at school.
I can recommend all of the above books if you’re looking to add to your Christmas pile.
Disclosure – I received the books free of charge but all opinions are my own
