Despite being to Walt Disney World three times now, there is still so much of the world I would like to see. We haven’t seen nearly enough of the UK either, something we are determined to change over the next few years before Abby decides she doesn’t want to explore new places with us. My dream holiday destinations list grows all the time, but all the more reason to start planning them now.
New York has been on my bucket list for so many years now. I would love to visit with my friends for shopping and shows without having to worry about the family, but I would also love to visit with the family. I can imagine it would be so magical to visit at Christmas to see all of the lights, enjoy the ice skating in Central Park, seeing the Empire State Building and so much more.
We could even have an educational trip in New York and visit the public library, Times Square and introduce Abby to knowledge that she may not necessarily learn in a normal school day.
We are so used to flying between Gatwick and Orlando International airport now and know the way without thinking, but there is so much more of Florida that we would like toe experience. We have only ever travelled to Walt Disney World, but I can only image the sights and attractions waiting for us outside that Disney bubble. I can often be found on Pinterest researching places to visit if we ever visit again.
Hubby is a massive fan of ice skating, and I have always wanted to visit the Canadian Rockies, so Canada has been on our list ever since we met each other. Luckily we both want to experience the same part of Canada. Some people say that Abby would be too young to appreciate such a trip, but she shares her love of ice skating as much as her Dad does, an activity they can often be found doing together. I think she would get a lot out of a trip to Canada.
I always think of Rome to be a romantic place to visit, and a place I really want to visit in the near future. Being quite close to home, we could potentially escape for a long weekend to visit the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums. I would probably incorporate a trip to Rome with a Mini Cruise, something else on our dream holiday destinations list.
