I do like playing games on my phone, usually when I’m in the car waiting to collect Miss A from school or before I get up in the morning. I particularly like playing games that don’t require me to have an internet connection, and also a game I can pick up and put down easily that doesn’t require me to wait so many hours for a task to be completed.
Cooking Fever is a free to download time management game, a game centred around 15 different locations requiring you to cook different meals and desserts according you your location.
By creating different meals such as the burgers and hot dogs shown above in the fast food court, you will serve customers before their happiness bar goes from full to empty. The quicker you serve your customers, the happier they’ll be and the bigger tip you’ll receive. At any one time (as long as you have collected your money from the bar) you can have up to four customers at any one time, so you have to think about what the level may require and be organised about it.
At the end of each level as you collect coins, you have the option to upgrade your equipment such as adding a new burger station so you can have two buns out at the same time. Be careful though don’t leave the cooked food in the pan otherwise it might burn and you’ll have to put it in the bin and start again. Upgrading the equipment and being able to cook the food quicker does really help you in the more advanced levels so it’s recommended that you spend your coins wisely.
The whole game consists of over 500 levels spanned over 15 different locations so when for example the fast food court levels get a little tough, you can purchase a new restaurant from the main menu and start that on level one for a break in the game. Purchasing new restaurants in the game require gems as well as coins. You receive gems for rising through the XP ranks, or they are available as an in game purchase, a feature very similar to other popular games.
Another way to help you beat those harder levels is to upgrade the interior of your restaurant as by adding more features, the customers will allow you more time to prepare the dishes before getting fed up and leaving. Each level has a coin requirement to meet to be able to move onto the next level.
So far I have unlocked three restaurants including the new FC Barcelona Sports Bar where I am serving customers footballs, olives and sausages with beans. I’ve also unlocked the bakery pictured above which requires me to bake cakes, mix milkshakes and more. The cakes require thinking about as I haven’t unlocked a second plate yet so I can only prepare and store one cake at a time.
The game really is addictive and if you haven’t discovered it yet I think you should. You can download the game suitable for your operating device via this link.
I’ve also got another treat for you if you’d like to be in with the chance of winning this chocolate hamper, then please enter below.
