You may remember at the end of last year, I reviewed a phone
When Caseapp got in touch recently and asked if I would like to collaborate again, the answer was of course yes. As I love my phone case so much as it holds special memories from when we swam with dolphins, I decided to choose a different product this time and opted for a skin for my iPad.
Using the Caseapp website, I was able to choose from a selection of different collage designs, choosing the correct size for the model of my tablet. I knew I would like more than just one image on my skin, but at the same time, I wanted the images to be large enough for me to see them instantly.
I always struggle when choosing photos as we have captured so many nice memories over the years and months, that it’s difficult to single a few out. As always, the Disney photos play a big part in my happy memories, so a few were singled out of Miss A to take pride of place on my skin. I also chose a couple of recent ones from her gymnastics competition, and a lovely one when walking in the forest one day.
The prices range from £12 for a phone skin to £22 for a Macbook skin. The skins for IPads are priced at £17. Once my design was chosen, the order took just over a week to reach me. It comes as a vinyl sticker which is very easy to apply, I was a little worried about bubbles and not placing the skin correctly on the IPad but the process was very simple.
I would recommend cleaning the back and sides of your IPad first to remove dust particles, and then the pre cut holes for the speaker, camera lens etc can be popped out before you remove the skin from the backing paper.
I found by lining up the top with the camera lens and the edges, then the skin fell right into place gently, which I then smoothed out from the middle to the edges.
My IPad is certainly personalised to me now which is great for knowing which one is mine, and I definitely prefer it to the plain black case I had before.
