The time is almost upon us when we can book our next holiday to Disney. I like to book our holidays as a package that includes the flights all at the same time, so we are just waiting for the flights to be released for Easter 2016 and we’ll be able to really start making plans.
When we booked for 2014, we spent a long time watching You Tube videos of all the rides and attractions, and as it was our first time it really helped us gain an insight into what we might expect when we were there. The one thing that became apparent was the cameras that people were using to take their photos and videos, especially around water. I was a little worried about our camera becoming damaged if it got water logged, or even suffered from the heat with moisture finding its way into it, and I didn’t want to miss out on capturing the moment.
Hubby had ideas of taking under water shots, and being able to take pictures on some of the rides without worrying of splashes, or even being dropped from a height. We didn’t get around to purchasing a new camera for our 2014 trip and I ended up taking a lot of my photos with my phone as it was so convenient, but we have decided that we will definitely invest in something different like a Panasonic waterproof camera for the next holiday, as whilst the phone was great for parades and shows, it didn’t get used at all at the water parks as I was worried about damaging it.
I am already full of ideas on what I want to be able to collect great shots from when we are there again next year. I took a LOT of photos last year, but when I think about it now, there was so much more I wanted to be able to capture. The memories really will last a lifetime.
