I don’t know where this year has gone. It has zoomed past at the speed of light and here we are almost ready to welcome 2014. At the beginning of this year, I wasn’t sure where blogging was going to take me, but it’s been a great year for me and the blog, and I have recorded some amazing memories for me and my family.
JANUARY – January saw 6yo lose her stabilisers on her bike and gain the confidence she needed to ride. We also had a snow day.
FEBRUARY – February saw an action packed Half Term week where 6yo and her Daddy got to spend every day together doing something exciting.
MARCH – We explored the countryside and made lots with Junk modelling including a puppet theatre
APRIL – My grown up daughter unclipped her wings and went abroad with her friends which scared me but she had a great time. I learnt to sew,
MAY – My Baby turned 18, 6yo went bowling for the first time,
JUNE – I did the Race for Life and beast my best time, 6yo turned 6 years old this month
JULY – 6yo started her Summer Reading challenge and we went to Center Parcs
AUGUST – We packed loads into August including a trip to the Isle of Wight, watching the Air Show, arts and crafts, found out that Daddy likes Strawberries, went to Legoland. It was almost a break to go back to school!
SEPTEMBER – My blog turned one this month, hard to believe I had been blogging for a whole year.
OCTOBER – We did some pumpkin carving, 6yo brought some certifcates home from school.
NOVEMBER – I met some amazing ladies this month, and have some very lovely friends.
DECEMBER – We had a cheeky elf who came to stay this month, we got a real Christmas tree this year for a change, of course we went to see Santa, and the got spoiled rotten on Christmas Day.
Wow what a year! Thank you to everyone who has supported me this year, reading my blog, helping me with techie questions, helping me understand stats and everything else.
Here’s to a great 2014.
