Scratch And Sparkle

6yo doesn’t need any excuses to get an art and craft set out, and she really likes to try new things. We were sent a scratch and sparkle set from John Adams to try out recently. We had various kits before and were expecting good things due to the quality of past products.

Scratch and Sparkle is a fun kit based on the theme of Tatty Teddy which is such a cute character. The set is priced at around £10 and includes twelve different projects to keep children entertained.

Included in the box are cards, bookmarks, door hanger, door sign, tags, and a heart garland. They are all pre cut and ready to go aside from the hidden panels that need to be scratched off. This is done by the plastic tool included.

It was up to 6yo to decide whether she wanted to scratch the whole panel off, or just draw her own designs. She started by making two of her friends an Easter card which she later gave them, and they all received a bookmark which she branded with their names.

The whole set was very easy to complete, yet it provides room for imagination for 6yo to make up her own designs. There is everything included down to the ribbon and beads to complete the projects in the box.

This is a great idea to give as a gift for children’s parties as well as providing the entertainment for children through the holidays.
Disclosure – we received the kit free of charge but all opinions are my own

This looks great and I love that children can use their imagination rather than having to stick to a set pattern.
