Pampering For Mother’s Day

Every Mum loves a bit of pampering. I know I do! I’ve been exploring some lovely Health and Beauty treats for Mother’s Day in preparation for the big event. None of these will break the bank either.

The warmer weather is arriving if not slowly, so it’s a great time to get your feet in shape for the summer shoes. My feet and I don’t have a year round relationship and they only see the light of day when it’s super warm, but when it is, I like my feet to look nice, so a bit of preparation is key to feeling good about your feet.

This kit from Micro Pedi makes a great gift idea at just £29 at the moment. It includes a pedicure and tool for manicure as well which makes it two gifts in one.

There are loads of little attachments in the box, and it’s all contained in a gift bag after removing from the box. I really liked the fact the roller was interchangeable to move from feet care to nail care with different attachments.

I’m a big fan of Aldi’s Health and Beauty range since discovering them last year. I’ve been trialling their special buys for Mother’s Day this year including Body Butter, accutane for skin care, face masks with a unique brush application system that makes it a very easy and clean way to apply a face mask. A day moisturiser and a CC cream that has given me a light foundation coverage that works well with my skin.

None of these products are over £5 which make them a massive bargain.

At the end of a long day, it’s nice to be able to unwind in the bath with some luxurious oils. Nelsons arnicare bath and massage oil works well as a bath or or a massage oil. Lightly scented and a little goes a long way. A bargain at £8.

Nelson’s Rescue range is aimed to calm and soothe. It is designed to rehydrate dry skin. This has worked really well on my hands and elbows.

I hope by now you’ll have plenty of ideas for Mother’s Day gifts. We’ve covered edible gifts, gifts under £10, Homemade gifts, and personalised gifts.

Happy Mother’s Day

I do love a good pampering but I’d rather get my nails done by a professional LOL. I make too much of a mess with mine.

Those ALDI products are absolutely fantastic. I’m using the Arnicare Oil myself at the moment, it’s lovely. I really like the idea of that pedicure set too 🙂

The pedicure set looks great, my feet need some serious work before they can see the light of day!
