I can’t believe it’s June already! Where is this year going? June means Fathers Day is just around the corner, so we’ve been getting busy with Bakerross to create some fun personalised presents for Miss A’s Dad.
We’ve been looking at personalised photo gifts lately as well, so it was fun to see a photo frame that Miss A could personalise for her Dad. I liked this design immediately as despite being made of foam, there is a handy foam addition that allows the photo frame to stand alone without being propped against anything. Miss A of course chose a photo from when we were in Disney.
If you’ve got more than one child, these craft packs are a great idea. The desk tidy comes in a pack of three for just £3.45. All the pieces are pre cut, have smooth edges and felt tip pens work really well both against the grain of the wood and when colouring with the grain. When they are coloured and slotted together they are also very sturdy which I have been very impressed with.
The photo frames are £3.96 for four which is great even with one child, as there are always plenty of photos to go around, well there are in this house anyway.
What I like about the kits is that even though they are aimed for Father’s Day, if you only have the one child, and buy a set of three or four, you can adapt any of the kits with additional stickers to make a gift for a granddad, a birthday etc, so you’re not wasting money.
