When we booked our once in a lifetime holiday to Disney,
It does seem like such a long way away I know, but one thing I learn from our last trip was that it pays to plan well in advance and there is plenty you can be doing this far ahead of your trip.
I still feel like a Disney novice but with a little bit of knowledge this time around, so I am spending my time reading forums, keeping up to date with any news of park developments, and seeing which attractions may be closed for refurbishment during our trip.
I have linked our reservation to My Disney Experience (MDE) which is a website and app that you can store all your planning, fast passes when the time comes. It’s handy to have it activated this far in advance however.
My planning is mainly done through Pinterest where I have a board I pin anything that I see that relates to Disney and attractions, ideas that I want to incorporate into our next trip. It’s made me realise that as there is so much on my mental list at the moment, that I need to start a bucket list to attempt to achieve everything I want to. It may mean trip number three or four may have to happen in the future to get it all done :).
Being 300 days away may seem like such a long time, but it actually gives me time to think about the planning and structuring the days to get the most out of our fast pass choices when they are released for our holiday.
My planning at the moment off Pinterest is a notebook where I am jotting everything that we have all mentioned that we want to do before really looking at each day of the trip in more detail so finalise plans nearer the time.
I don’t want to wish my life away, I really don’t, but I can’t wait.
